Optical phased arrays (OPAs), the optical counterpart of at radio frequencies, can electronically steer an beam without any moving parts. To achieve a 180° field view (FOV), array emitters should be spaced half-wavelength apart or less. However, conventional OPA based on waveguide grating suffers from strong cross talk between adjacent waveguides when pitch is Here, we theoretically describe and experimentally demonstrate two-dimensional aliasing-free steering regime for integrated with entire FOV. We this by using half-wavelength-pitch combined trapezoidal slab as single emitter. Our also features low sidelobe level &lt; −<!-- − <mml:mn>19 d mathvariant="normal">B while steered 40 ∘<!-- ∘ </mml:msup> to + , breaking trade-off FOV quality. The chip-based large range high quality provides promising route compact, solid-state, cost-effective, high-performance light detection ranging system, enabling wide classical quantum applications.
